Gym beginners guide

Start simple. Focus on building consistency over intensity. Begin with full-body workouts 2–3 times a week, combining light cardio, basic strength exercises, and mobility work. Don’t worry about doing everything at once—progress comes with time.

45–60 minutes is ideal. Focus on quality, not quantity. A well-structured session includes warm-up, a main workout (30–40 mins), and a cool-down. Even 30 minutes can be effective if you're consistent.

Keep it simple and stress-free. Do a light cardio warm-up, try basic bodyweight exercises, and explore the space. If available, book an induction or ask a trainer for guidance. Most importantly—don’t rush or compare yourself to others.

A well-rounded gym routine for overall wellness includes strength training 2–3 times a week, cardio twice a week, flexibility and mobility work like yoga or stretching 2–3 times weekly, and regular mindfulness practices such as breathwork or meditation.
